I just got back from watching "X-Men 3: The Last Stand."
It's good and a worthy successor to the other two movies. For all the people who go around complaining that it doesn't follow the comic books, get over it. It's a movie. Concerning the changes to some of the characters, lose of powers or deaths. Do you ever read comics? Characters die or lose their powers all the time in the comics. They also come back from the dead or get their powers back all the time. This makes this the perfect comic book movie because these same things happen all the time in the comics.
You might ask how are the "GRAAAPHICS (inside joke)?" The GRAAPHICS are excellent. Telling CGI from real footage was very difficult. There is a scene where a younger Xavier and Magneto visit a pre-teen Jean Grey at here home. They must have used younger images of Patrick Stewart and Ian McCellen and "pasted" them on to make them look younger, but it's hard to tell.
All of the actors do good jobs. Hale Berry is very good as Storm. Storm has always been one of my favorite characters and I'm happy to see more of her. Kelsey Grammer as Beast was very good. He has always been one of my favorite actors because he's very good and he's also a patriotic American. I do hope this isn't the last X-Men movie like they're saying. I'd like to see more.
Now I can't wait for "Pirates of the Carribbean 2," "Cars" and "Superman Returns."
